Beware of the dog days of summer! This is the time of year when things get a bit weird.
The dog days of summer are the hot, sultry days of summer. Historically, they were the period following the rising of the star system Sirius (known as the “Dog Star”), which meant heat, drought, sudden thunderstorms, lethargy, mad dogs, and bad luck. Ordinary people, places, and things start to seem a little peculiar.
Get away from it all! Escape to JBR Vineyards & Winery to experience open spaces, fresh breezes, and fine wines. Bring your dog, who is also, no doubt, feeling out of sorts.
Each event takes place on:
Saturday: Noon-5, and
Sunday: 1-5
