  • JBR Vineyards 1360 Springdale Road Pearisburg, VA, 24134 United States (map)

Celebrate America’s Forgotten native tropical fruit, rediscovered at JBR Vineyards’ 7th annual Pawpaw Festival! Enjoy a weekend filled with live music, great wine, a walk through the pawpaw patch, vineyard tours, and learning about pawpaws.  Dogs and kids welcome.

FREE ADMISSION

The pawpaw tree—native to Appalachia—produces a unique and delicious fruit you won’t often find in stores due to its short shelf life. That’s part of its charm…if you want to enjoy pawpaws, you grow them yourself.

Join us for a day celebrating this hidden Appalachian treasure. Learn how to select and grow your own pawpaw trees, then relax and take in the beauty of the vineyard. Enjoy live music with a glass of estate-grown wine, savor offerings from local food trucks (or bring your own picnic), and take a stroll out to the pawpaw patch.

Come curious, leave inspired—and maybe ready to grow a little piece of Appalachia at home.

🎶 Live Music Lineup:

Saturday, September 19: The Trio

Formed in 2025 in Virginia’s New River Valley, "The Trio" brings together the dynamic talents of Shane, Richie, and Elliott.

The idea for the band was first sparked during a meeting at the Food City bar in Radford. A simple moment that turned into the start of something special.

Blending rich harmonies with seasoned musicianship, the group delivers an energetic and versatile live experience. Their setlist spans classic rock favorites, country staples, and iconic hits from the ’90s, offering something for every crowd.

With a shared passion for great songs and authentic performance, The Trio creates a sound that feels both familiar and fresh, keeping audiences engaged from the first note to the last.

Sunday, September 20: Virginia Hollow

Hailing from the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Floyd, Virginia, Virginia Hollow is a dynamic trio blending Americana, Country, Folk, Rock, and a touch of Bluegrass into a sound steeped in soulful mountain spirit. Their original music carries listeners on a rootsy, heartfelt journey, rich with harmony, storytelling, and timeless authenticity.

Fronted by Carrie Hinkley on lead vocals and acoustic guitar, Virginia Hollow crafts an evocative musical experience that feels both grounded in tradition and vibrantly alive.
